Jolly Lolly – Indian Kulfi ice cream!

Kulfi is a delicious frozen Indian dessert, like ice cream, but denser and creamier. It is Indian ice cream, made using fresh fruit, nuts and sweet spices.

Jolly Lolly Kulfi was borne out of a passion for sweet Indian flavours at the Gujarati Rasoi restaurant kitchen. The idea came about on-site at our restaurant, where customers have been telling me for years how much they love our Kulfi. After some time, I thought it a perfect opportunity to introduce Kulfi, to the ice cream fans of London.

We make our Kulfi in small batches, searching out the freshest and tastiest seasonal fruit, with the most flavoursome nuts and ingredients, and then combining them with freshly ground spices. These traditional recipes coupled with a passion for Indian desserts, have created the best kulfi in London.

The range includes exciting and seasonally-changing flavours, with classics such as Mango or Aromatic Chai, Lemon with Saffron or the interesting Rose and Cardamom.

Our vegan range of lollies is just as exciting with flavour highlights including lychees with coconut, pomegranate, hibiscus, coconut, pineapple, watermelon, apricots, cherries and sweet spices – cardamom, star anise – the list goes on! Chocolate with pomegranate is one of our best sellers and also a personal favourite.

My chef hat is always firmly on, and we are often looking at what ingredients and spices are in-season, further developing our product and introducing new flavours. At the moment, we are testing out citrus flavours with hints of ginger or mint.
