Diwali Supper Club Menu
I’ve wanted to host a supper club for quite some time now, however the juggle of the markets and the restaurant meant that the idea was ‘on the back burner’ simmering away, and it had been that way for some time. However the planets finally aligned and helped me take that idea and put it on to boil!
With Diwali, as well as our restaurants 5th birthday to celebrate, was there never a better time to get cooking. We hosted the first of our Supper Clubs on Monday the 16th of November, the first day of the five days of Diwali.
Many hours of menu development later, we created a menu steeped in the traditional cooking principles that constitute Gujarati Cusine, with a slightly looser hand on the Gujarati reigns, allowing for little twists here and there.
All in all a really rewarding and interesting experience and process, one that we are really excited to share and repeat again, perhaps a Christmas supper club is simmering…
